Bedroom Makeover - Under $10.

When I first moved to Omaha, I celebrated by buying new sheets and a comforter cover for my bed - that were NOT Twin XL. Okay, I still sleep on a twin bed, but there's something about being off the college-issued long beds that made me feel more adult.

I was a big fan of the yellow and dark gray, and that hasn't changed.

However, I finally hit the Target jackpot last week. I never seem to have the awesome luck other people have at Target - finding those endcap deals? Almost never anything I want badly or need (because let's be honest, most of the stuff at Target is stuff you just WANT). However, as I was meandering through the aisles a week ago on a day off from work, I saw sheets on sale. Clearance, actually, not just sale.

And duvet covers.

ON CLEARANCE.

So for a meager ten dollars, I did a quick bedroom revamp.

And I'm loving it. I'm digging the gray/white combo with the red for more of a wintry feel (because yes, it is winter), and I love that I'm able to alternate between the two from now on. The duvet cover also has a more grown-uppy feel than the yellow one. Not that the yellow is bad; just different.

Anyway, I was super psyched about revamping my bedroom (ok, whole apartment since I have a studio) for less than ten dollars.
