What I'm Loving Wednesday.

Today I am loving:

That there's only one more quarter before the end of my first year of teaching. It's been a great year, but I'm excited for it to get easier every year after this one!

All the gym friends I've been making lately. When I switched gyms, I left behind a group of awesomely hilarious people from my Tuesday/Thursday spin class, but lately, I've been making friends with some women I see every week at different classes, which has been fun!

That I've been chosen to be a World Book Night giver! I get a certain number of copies of a book (I picked my top two choices from a list), and my job is to pick up the books come mid-March and GIVE THEM AWAY to non-readers or those without financial means to buy books. How cool is that?!? Seeing as how most of my 7th and 8th graders are non-readers, I have the perfect job for giving away books. They had adult and young adult books, so obviously both my choices were YA books.

From Pinterest (find me here!):

I really think this is hilarious as a bathroom/drink pass. My seventh and eighth hours have a TON of kids who just want to drink and pee all hour long. No, no, no! Also my fifth hour canNOT remember to bring their materials to class. This might be perfectly awesome.

Again, I really love Kid President. And this video.

I think this is a year that answers questions. And I like that.

I am a proud member of the Grammar Police.

I like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, especially Love in the Time of Cholera.

Anyway, that's what I'm loving this week. What are you loving?
