Happy Monday! If you have a normal job, you might have today off. If you teach where I teach... You don't. As always, here's the good, bad, and the ugly from my weekend:
The Good: My family is here. My mom and sister came down Saturday afternoon and are staying until this afternoon. We've had fun so far - two days is a good amount of time for a visit!
The Bad: Target's sale aisle. Just kidding. But really, I did a bedroom (okay, whole apartment, since I have a studio) makeover for ten dollars with new sheets and a new duvet cover. And a copy of "First Wives Club," because everyone needs that. But then, that means I spent money. On clothes. I went a whole month and a half without shopping, but without fail, every time my family comes, I drop some cash. This week, I bought two pairs of shorts for summer AND a cute long-sleeved-ish shirt from LOFT. I'm almost on a first-name basis with the clerks there. Oops.
The Ugly: Family coming is NOT conducive to my weight-loss plan. Frozen yogurt with delicious toppings? Wine while making risotto? Smashburger? Oops. But boy, was it delicious.
Anyway, that's the good, bad, and ugly of my weekend. What about yours? Write a post and link up below!

Ah! I almost forgot to linkup!!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think of the duvet cover once you start using it. I've been considering purchasing it for my guest room. (I moved from a studio to a three bedroom... means I had no furniture and now that I have furniture, I have no bedding for my rooms!)
I worked too. BLAH!
ReplyDeleteHi! Wanted to join in on the link-up! I definitely agree with the Target Sale's- I always spend way too much money when I go there, but how can you pass up those deals? Just like how can you pass up frozen yogurt?
